Community Awareness Events

Join us at community advocacy events and awareness campaigns that promote connection, education, and hope. These events help reduce stigma and remind people they are not alone.

NotToday

Suicide Prevention Through Awareness and Connection

NotToday. is an annual suicide prevention awareness campaign held each September during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, with a special focus on adolescent mental health. In partnership with local businesses and Williston High School, this event provides protective education, resources, and meaningful opportunities to talk openly about suicide prevention.

The campaign also includes a community walk/run held in honor of those lost to suicide — creating space for remembrance, connection, and hope while reinforcing the message that help is available and lives matter.

RUOK?

Starting Conversations That Strengthen Mental Health

RUOK? is held each May during Mental Health Awareness Month and is designed to encourage open, honest conversations about mental health. This event helps normalize checking in with ourselves and with each other, reminding our community that asking and answering “Are you okay?” can be a powerful act of care.

In partnership with Déjà Brew, the event uses a simple “give a drink, buy a drink” concept to spark connection. A shared cup of coffee becomes an invitation to pause, reach out, and have conversations that build understanding, support, and belonging.
